PANAMA CITY, March 24 (Reuters) - A unit of Hong Kong's CK Hutchison 0001.HK said on Tuesday it had expanded its claims in an international arbitration case against Panama, saying damages had now risen to more than $2 billion one month after what it described as the state's illegal takeover of port terminals and company property.
Last week, Panamanian President Jose Raul Mulino said accusations by the unit, Panama Ports Company, over setbacks in the arbitration process were "outrageous" and "a lie."
