Exploration Update
Cloudbreak Discovery Plc (LSE: CDL), the natural resource explorer and project generator, is pleased to announce an update for the first phase of the field-based exploration programme that has been completed at the Darlot West Gold Project ("Darlot West"), located in the Eastern Goldfields Region of Western Australia.
This first phase included mapping and rock chip sampling, set out at Figure 1, across Darlot West, and representative samples were taken across the areas of interest; the key points:
· Multiple historical shafts, pits and trenches identified in the reconnaissance programme in July this year, across the Project from historical mining activities that predate modern exploration, example shown at Figure 2.
· Mineralisation targeted by previous miners consisted of predominantly ferruginous quartz veins to depths of up to 15m.
· Numerous prospects with outcropping and sub cropping ferruginous quartz sampled.
· 40 rock chip samples, shown at Figure 3, were taken and have been submitted to Intertek Laboratory, Perth for analysis. The in-house analysis is set at Table 1. Results of the sampling program will be announced as soon as they are received in coming weeks.
· Six prospect areas that have been evaluated, in house, by the rock chip sampling and mapping and further exploration programs will be devised upon return of assay results.
· Project is located 10km to the southwest of the Darlot Gold mine which has produced 2.8Moz Au.
·

Figure 3: Rock Chip Sampling Location Plan
The 40 rock chip samples collected were based on visual assessment from mapping of geologically interesting units with the potential of hosting gold mineralisation. The sites include mullock material from shafts/pits, sub-cropping and out-cropping exposures. The aim of the sampling program was to define areas of interest for follow up soil sampling and potentially drill testing. Six discrete target areas were defined and will be assessed based on the outcomes of the assay results. Further exploration programs will be devised upon receipt of the assay results.
