SYDNEY, Sept 2 (Reuters) - A woman animal handler at an
Australian theme park was attacked by a tiger and has been taken
to hospital with deep cuts to the arm, Australian media reported
on Monday.
Emergency services were called to the Dreamworld theme park
near Gold Coast in Queensland state after an incident involving
a tiger on Monday morning, Queensland Ambulance Service said.
The woman, in her 40s, is in a stable condition at the
hospital.
The tiger island at Dreamworld, owned by Coast Entertainment
CEH.AX , is home to nine Sumatran and Bengal tigers.
