Australia's Cobre hits near 1-year high on successful copper cathode production

** Shares of Cobre Ltd CBE.AX rise as much as 4.2% to A$0.074, their highest level since November 1, 2024

** The copper producer says it successfully produced high-quality copper cathode following a successful copper recovery program from its Ngami Project in Botswana

** Adds that project milestone provides confidence to move forward with onsite pilot scale testing for the project

** About 1.6 million shares traded, 2.3x the 30-day average

** YTD stock up 41.4%, including current session's move
