** Shares of Cobre  CBE.AX  rise as much as 122% to A$0.095,
hitting their highest level since July 14, 2023
    ** Stock sees best day since Aug. 1, 2022
    ** Diversified miner says co has been selected to
participate in the 2024 BHP Xplor Program
    ** Co says BHP will provide Cobre with $500,000 in
non-dilutive funding
    ** Adds will assist in its advancement of exploration plans
on its Kalahari Copper Belt projects, Botswana.
    ** More than 14.5 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of 415,157 shares
    ** Stock flat YTD, as of last close
