** Shares of Coda Minerals COD.AX rise 5.26% to A$0.082

** Earlier, stock up as much as 9.13% to A$0.083, its biggest intraday pct gain since June 5

** Base metals miner recovers more copper in its Elizabeth Creek Copper-Cobalt Project in South Australia compared to earlier tests

** COD finds copper recovery rates of 92.5% and 95.9% each from the use of two new techniques, compared to an average of 82.8% in previous tests

** YTD, stock down 16.13%
