** Shares of telecommunications services firm EchoStar SATS.O up 3.6% at $110.10, while those of data center equipment maker Vertiv Holdings VRT.N rise 5.4% to $255.00 in extended trading

** Shares of photonics product makers Lumentum Holdings LITE.O up 2% at $569.60; Coherent COHR.N stock up 1.1% at $238.30

** S&P Dow Jones Indices says that Vertiv, Lumentum, Coherent and EchoStar will join its flagship S&P 500 .SPX index
