Australia's New Century Resources rises on securing additional loan

** Shares of New Century Resources NCZ.AX rise as much as
4.26% to A$0.245, marking their biggest intraday pct gain since
Dec. 11
** The coal-zinc producer expands existing senior secured
debt facilities with investment firm Varde Partners to A$100 mln
($69.02 mln) from A$60 mln (http://bit.ly/2PRKY0B)
** Co on track to produce between 27,000 tonnes and 33,000
tonnes of zinc in the December quarter
** Over 1.8 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average of more than 1.2 mln shares
** Shares of New Century were on trading halt on Friday
** Stock had fallen 71.7% this year, as of last close,
compared with a 21.3% increase in the ASX All Ordinaries index
