26 September 2017, Doha - Qatar: The Commercial Bank (P.S.Q.C.), Qatar (the Commercial Bank) has agreed to grant a third party purchaser (the Purchaser) a 90 day period of exclusivity during which the parties will negotiate the terms of definitive transaction documents pertaining to the potential purchase by the Purchaser, subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions, of the Commercial Bank's stake in United Arab Bank (P.J.S.C.), a publicly listed entity on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (A.D.X.), with its registered head office in Sharjah, UAE.
