Majid Al Futtaim Holding LLC Board.

Effective 23 June 2025, Mr. Fadel Abdulbaqi Al Ali was appointed Chairman of Majid Al Futtaim Holding LLC's Board of Directors.

Mr. Fadel Abdulbaqi Al Ali brings extensive experience in financial services, corporate governance, and strategic leadership. He also currently serves as Chairman of the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wio Bank and is a board member of the Commercial International Bank of Egypt. 

 

Previously, Mr. Al Ali held notable executive roles including Deputy CEO and Group Chief of Operations at First Abu Dhabi Bank, and CEO of Dubai Holding.  He started his career at Dubai Municipality in 1987 before joining Citibank in 1989, where he rose to become UAE Head of Distribution. Throughout his career, Fadel Abdulbaqi Al Ali has been instrumental in shaping institutional strategy and advancing the UAE's financial sector.
