CIB is pleased to announce that Mr. Ahmed Issa - CEO Retail Banking, and
member of the Bank's Executive Management Committee - has today been appointed
as Minister of Tourism and Antiquities in the newly formed cabinet.
Mr. Issa has served the Bank since 1993 to 2001, and from 2003 till now, with
much integrity and professional commitment in various positions within the
Bank. During his successful career with the CIB, he took notable roles in
Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, and most recently within Retail
Banking, in addition to functional roles in Strategy, Finance, and HR, and as
a chairman of Bank subsidiaries.
CIB Board and Management are proud of Mr. Issa's appointment and are confident
in his abilities, and dedication. We look forward to witnessing him succeed
again with the new responsibilities he will be entrusted with.
