CIB RECEIVES REGULATORY APPROVALS TO CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

CAIRO - November 6(th), 2024

 

Reference to the release issued on September 15(th), Commercial International
Bank Egypt (CIB), Egypt's largest private sector bank, would like to announce
that the Bank received the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) and the relevant
regulatory bodies' approvals to the previously announced changes to the Board
of Directors.

The changes come with immediate effect and will see Mrs. Neveen Sabbour as
Independent Non-Executive Chair, the first woman to chair CIB's board, Mr.
Hisham Ezz Al-Arab assuming the responsibilities of Chief Executive Officer
and Executive Director, Mr. Amr El-Ganainy an Executive Director of the Board
in his capacity as Deputy CEO, Mr. Islam Zekry, an Executive Director in his
capacity as Group Chief Financial Officer, and Mr. Tony Prestedge as Executive
Advisor to the Board of Directors.
