** Shares of Constellation Resources  CR1.AX  rise as much
as 15.3% to A$.098, posting their biggest intraday gain since
Oct. 23
    ** Stock hits its highest level since Jan. 22
    ** Mineral explorer says it was accepted as the preferred
applicant for six Special Prospecting Authorities
with an Acreage Option applications in Western Australia
    ** Applications are conditional offers for granting of
mining license in areas
    ** Adds application areas are prospective for helium and
associated gases
    ** About 717,800 shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of 6,501
    ** Stock down 26.1% YTD as of last close
