U.S. stock index futures edged higher on Wednesday ahead of keenly awaited
consumer prices data, which will allow investors to determine if inflation is
peaking and help calibrate their expectations on future interest rate hikes.

    At 7:38 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were up 0.20% at 32,801. S&P 500 e-minis
 ESc1  were up 0.24% at 4,134.5, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were up 0.33%
at 13,075.
