Australia's Cooper Metals rises on positive drilling results at Queensland project

** Shares of Cooper Metals  CPM.AX  rise as much as 139.3%
to A$0.335, their highest intraday percentage gain 
    ** Stock hits highest level since May 18
    ** The mineral explorer says it sees positive results from
drilling at its Mt Isa East Cu-Au project in Queensland
    ** Says initial drilling has found the best copper intercept
to date at project
    ** Adds drill intercept is the strongest mineralised
intercept drilled by co in two years
    ** More than 7.4 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of 81,412
    ** Cooper Metals stock up 8.5% YTD
