Copart falls on lower quarterly earnings

** Shares of online vehicle auction services provider Copart CPRT.O dip 12% to about $33 premarket

** Co on Thursday posted a decline in second-quarter profit and revenue due to lower vehicle sales and service volumes

** Reported Q2 profit of 36 cents/share, as compared to 40 cents/share a year ago

     ** Its quarterly revenue fell 3.6% to $1.12 billion

** As of last close, shares down 3.8% YTD
