Dec 11 (Reuters) - Cordlife Group Ltd  CORD.SI : 
 * Says discontinuance of legal proceedings pursuant to settlement 
 * Matter has been amicably resolved through the mediation process conducted by the Singapore mediation centre 
 * "Defendant has provided an unequivocal and unqualified statement of apology for the defamatory statements that he made against the co" 
 * Defendant has also retracted all statements made against the company and "accepts that such statements should not have been made" 
 * Says "defendant has offered monetary compensation which has been accepted, as a matter of goodwill, by the company" 
 * Says pursuant to settlement terms reached at mediation, "co has discontinued the proceedings on 11 December 2015"
