Wall Street's main indexes declined on Tuesday as caution dampened investor
enthusiasm ahead of a crucial inflation reading and a policy announcement from
the Federal Reserve expected this week.  .N

38,649.8. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.32% at 5,343.5 and the Nasdaq Composite
