** Shares of Corning GLW.N rises 19% to $193 premarket

** The specialty glass maker enters into a multi-year deal with Nvidia NVDA.O to make more advanced optical connectivity products in the United States

** GLW to increase U.S.-based optical connectivity manufacturing capacity by 10x, expand its U.S. fiber production capacity by more than 50% and build three new U.S. plants

** Up to last close, GLW up 85% YTD
