BUZZ-Corning jumps on multibillion-dollar Amazon deal for producing optical fiber ** Shares of specialty glass maker Corning GLW.N soar 10.4% to $196.30 premarket
** Amazon AMZN.O announces a multiyear, multibillion-dollar agreement with GLW, to supply the optical fiber, cable and connectivity solutions that power AMZN's expanding data center infrastructure across the U.S.
** Says the investment will create 1,000 new, highly skilled jobs at GLW's manufacturing facilities across North Carolina, and support hundreds of additional construction jobs to expand GLW's facilities
** Up to last close, stock has more than doubled this year
