Dec 4 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were 
reported by 1230 GMT on Monday:

    ** Aspen Pharmacare  APNJ.J  is expanding further into China
through a deal to buy the Chinese business of Swiss group Sandoz
 SDZ.S  for up to 92.6 million euros ($100.6 million), the South

    ** Japan's Cosmo Energy  5021.T  said it took a positive
view on a stake purchase by gas company Iwatani Corp  8088.T .

Carmot Therapeutics  CRMO.O  for $2.7 billion, joining a list
global contestants seeking to challenge the dominant makers of

    ** Brookfield will walk away from Origin Energy  ORG.AX , a
source familiar with the matter said, after shareholders in
Australia's largest power retailer rejected a $10.6 billion
takeover bid by a consortium led by the asset manager.

    ** Alaska Air Group Inc  ALK.N  said it would acquire
