Japan's Cosmo Oil restarts 86,000 bpd Yokkaichi CDU
TOKYO, Oct 3 (Reuters) - Japan's Cosmo Oil has restarted
the 86,000 barrels-per-day (bpd) crude distillation unit (CDU)
at the Yokkaichi refinery in central Japan at the end of
September after fixing an electrical problem, a company
spokesperson said on Tuesday.
The company, a unit of Cosmo Energy Holdings Co Ltd
5021.T , shut the unit on Sept. 9.
It plans to shut the 75,000-bpd No.1 CDU at its Chiba
refinery, near Tokyo, for planned maintenance in early October,
the spokesperson said.
