China's Country Garden slips as monthly contracted sales dip

** Shares of Country Garden Holdings 2007.HK slip 3.6% to HK$0.27, on course to snap two gaining sessions

** The Chinese property developer, with a current market capitalisation of $1.60 bln, said its contracted sales attributable to shareholders for April 2026 amounted to about 2.5 billion yuan ($367.41 million)

** That compared with 3.08 billion yuan contracted sales in the same period a year ago

** YTD, stock down 33.7%, benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI up 2.6%
