POLITICS
Germany, France and Italy pledged to cooperate more on
procuring raw materials at a meeting of economy and industry
ministers on Tuesday in Berlin they said marked a new phase of
trilateral collaboration on European industrial policy.
ECONOMY
ISTAT releases June consumer and business confidence data
(0800 GMT).
DEBT
Treasury sells 2.0-2.5 billion euros 3.40% BTP Short bonds
due March 28, 2025 and 1.25-1.75 billion euros 1.50% BTPei bonds
due May 15, 2029. Subscriptions close at 0900 GMT.
The Treasury said on Monday that in the third quarter it
will offer new 3-year, 7-year and 10-year BTP bonds, as well as
a new September 2025 BTP 'short term'.
Italy confirmed its guidance for the issuance of medium- to
long-term sovereign bonds in 2023 despite an increase in the
state budget deficit reported in the first five months of this
year, a Treasury document published on Monday showed.
Updating its debt programme, the Treasury estimated it would
issue 118 billion euros ($128.69 billion) of paper between July
and December, on top of 202 billion euros of bonds sold in the
first half.

FERRETTI YACHT.MI
Italy-based company of luxury yachts production, expected to
debut on Euronext Milan (listed on Hong Kong 9638.HK ).
SAIPEM SPMI.MI
The Italian oil services group said on Monday it had been
awarded two new offshore drilling contracts, one in the Middle
East and one in the Mediterranean Sea, for a total amount of
approximately $550 million.
STELLANTIS STLAM.MI
The carmaker has reached a deal with dealers to help it
deliver vehicles in Italy at a time of prolonged logistical
disruption in Europe, the group's head for Italy Santo Ficili
said on Monday.
Under the arrangement, struck six months ago, dealers
directly pick up cars from factories, rather than have them
delivered by Stellantis, which is struggling with a shortage of
lorry drivers linked to the war in Ukraine.
SAFILO SFLG.MI
The Italian eyewear maker has renewed in advance its
licensing agreement with US fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger until
2030, the two companies said on Monday.
French luxury house LVMH LVMH.PA 's Thelios, which in
advanced talks to buy Safilo's Longarone plant, would retain
about 250 of the 460 people who work there, trade union sources
said on Monday.
