July 31 (Reuters) - Cpm Group Ltd  1932.HK  
    * Announcement in relation to fire accident at one of 
production plants 
    * On 28 July 2017, fire accident occurred at production 
plant operated by Hubei Giraffe Paint Mfg situated  ezhou city, 
Hubei Province 
    * As a result of fire accident, certain raw materials, 
finished goods and fixture have been damaged 
    * As a result of fire accident, no person is injured or 
killed in fire accident 
    * Based on preliminary assessment, cost of damaged fixture 
and inventory lost amounted to less than RMB1.0 million 
    * Production activities at Ezhou production plant have been 
suspended pending completion of post-accident investigation by 
prc government authorities 
    * Fire accident will not cause material adverse impact on 
financial position of group, nor cause material damage on 
production, sales, operations
