Brief: Creative Technology files patent infringement lawsuits against 7 smartphone manufacturers

March 25 (Reuters) - Creative Technology Ltd  CREA.SI : 
 * Filed a complaint with United States international trade commission, seeking injunctions against 7 smartphone manufacturers 
 * Complaint seeking exclusion orders against Samsung, lg, Sony, htc, lenovo/motorola, Zte and BlackBerry 
 * Complaint alleges infringement of creative's US patent 6,928,433 
 * Says it also filed parallel patent infringement lawsuits against these seven companies in the eastern district of Texas 
 * Complaint & lawsuits not expected to have any material impact on net earnings per share of Creative for current financial year
