** Australian health stocks .AXHJ fall 2.8% to 22,402 points

** Sub-index on track to extend losses for a sixth consecutive session, if current trend holds

** CSL CSL.AX, a major constituent of the sub-index, has lost more than 10% since Monday when it trimmed its annual profit forecast and flagged $5 billion impairment across 2026-2027

** YTD, AXHJ down 33.6%, in tandem with a 0.7% drop in benchmark AXJO .AXJO
