Australia’s CuFe eyes best day in over 4 months on port service contract

** Shares of CuFe  CUF.AX  rise as much as 27.3% to A$0.014,
set to mark biggest intraday pct gain since July 14, if gains
hold      
   ** Stock hits highest level since Oct. 2  
   ** Mineral explorer and producer says it has signed a
12-month port contract with a unit of Fenix Resources Ltd
 FEN.AX  
   ** Says contract is for port services at Geraldton Port in
Western Australia with an effective commencement date of Oct. 1
   ** About 3 mln shares change hands, compared with the 30-day
average volume of 548,989 
   ** Stock has fallen 26.7% pct this year, as of last close,
compared with a 0.3% increase in the broader  .AXJO  index
