** Shares of Australia's D3 Energy D3E.AX climb as much as 19.4% to A$0.370, their higest levels since July 15
** Exploration co says it has commenced drilling two wells in South Africa's Free State province
** Adds that the wells will further evaluate helium and natural gas resources at the Nooitgedacht reservoir
** Stock down 12.5% YTD, including sessions' moves
