** India's DAM Capital Advisors DAMC.NS rises 7% to 272.49 rupees after Q2 results

** Stock set for best one-day pct rise since 23 May, if gains hold

** Co's Q2 income rises 69% y/y as rebound in capital markets created favorable conditions for IPOs, driving the investment banking segment

** Profit after tax jumps to 520 million rupees from 220 million rupees a year ago, while profit margin improves to 48.7% from 34.2%

** YTD, DAMC down ~28.5%
