Delta Corp jumps most in 3-1/2 months on regulator nod for unit's IPO

** Shares of casino and gaming firm Delta Corp Ltd  DELT.NS 
rise as much as 7.6% to 216.40 rupees ($2.66), their biggest
intraday pct gain since June 17
    ** DELT's unit Deltatech Gaming Ltd got an observation
letter (equivalent of an approval) from market regulator Sebi
for its 5.50 billion rupees initial public offering (IPO), an
update on Sebi's website on Monday showed
    ** DELT shares hit their highest level since Sept. 20
    ** More than 5.63 mln shares change hands by 0540 GMT, 1.1x
30-day avg of 5.36 mln shares
    ** Stock down 22.4% so far this year up to last close
($1 = 81.4250 Indian rupees)
