Description: Retail sales in the US unexpectedly rose in August - likely
boosted by back to school shopping and child tax credit payments from the
governments. Jobless claims have risen though, with 332,000 people filing new
applications for unemployment benefits. JP Morgan has downgraded US casino
operators Las Vegas sands and Wynn Resorts on the back of Macau's regulatory
crackdown on casinos in the world's biggest gambling hub.
