Australia's DGR Global jumps as unit merges with Canadian firm

** DGR Global shares  DGR.AX  jump as much as 12.5% to
A$0.063, clocking their sharpest intraday pct gain since Oct. 4
    ** Co says its indirectly owned unit SolGold  SOLG.L  to
merge with Canada's Conerstone Capital Resources  CGP.V  on the
basis of 15 SolGold shares per Cornerstone share  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nFWN31F000
    ** The resource exploration firm says merger will simplify
ownership of Cascabel copper-gold porphyry Project in Ecuador
    ** More than 463,000 shares traded as of 0413 GMT vs 30-day
average of 268,384 shares
    ** Stock down ~7% this year, as of last close, vs an ~11%
drop in benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index  .AXJO  in same period
