Norway banking sector faces growing risk, central bank says
OSLO, May 20 (Reuters) - Norway faces a higher risk of market turbulence and an economic downturn that could weaken financial stability, the country's central bank said in a report on Tuesday. "If trade restrictions and heightened uncertainty lead to a downturn abroad, the effects can spill over to the Norwegian economy and increase banks' credit losses," Norges Bank said.
