DNB BANK ASA is a Norway-based financial services group. The DNB Group offers banking, securities and investment services, real estate broking services, insurance and asset management services in the Norwegian and international retail and corporate markets. DNB has four operating segments: Personal customers, Corporate customers, Other operations and Risk management and internal control. The Personal customers segment includes the Group’s personal customers in Norway; The Corporate customers segment includes the Group’s customers in the Norwegian business community and public sector, as well as all international customers and financial institutions; The Other operations segment comprises the business activities in the risk management operations in Markets and traditional pension products in DNB Livsforsikring; and The Risk management and internal control segment's purpose is to achieve an optimal balance between risk and earnings in a long term perspective.
