Australia's Cosmos Exploration surges as Canadian lithium programme takes off

** Shares of mineral explorer Cosmos Exploration  C1X.AX 
rise as much as 22.3% to A$0.455, their highest since June 23
    ** Says co's maiden summer lithium exploration programme
starts at the highly prospective Corvette Far East lithium
project and Lasalle lithium project in Quebec, Canada
    ** The programme will focus on high-priority anomalies
identified across the two projects
    ** Stock up for third consecutive session, and marks its
biggest intraday pct gain since July 26
    ** More than 876,000 shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average of about 231,000 shares 
    ** As of last close, stock up ~68.2% this year
