      CHANGE OF ADVISORS    
      LONDON: 13 JANUARY 2017 - The directors of ECR Minerals plc (the       Directors) announce that Optiva Securities Ltd will be retained as       ECRs sole broker going forward with immediate effect.    
      The directors further advise that PKF Littlejohn LLC has been appointed       as the Companys auditors. Nexia Smith & Williamson, the outgoing       auditors, have confirmed that in accordance with Section 519 of the       Companies Act 2006 there are no circumstances connected with their       ceasing to hold office that they consider should be brought to the       attention of the companys members or creditors.    
      These changes have been made to further reduce the Companys ongoing       costs.    
      ABOUT ECR    
      ECR is a mineral exploration and development company. ECRs wholly owned       Australian subsidiary Mercator Gold Australia has acquired 100%       ownership of the Avoca and Bailieston gold projects in Victoria,       Australia. ECR has earned a 25% interest in the Danglay epithermal gold       project, an advanced exploration project located in a prolific gold and       copper mining district in the north of the Philippines. An NI43-101       technical report was completed in respect of the Danglay project in       December 2015, and is available for download from ECRs website.    
      ECRs wholly owned subsidiary Ochre Mining has a 100% interest in the       SLM gold project in La Rioja, Argentina. Exploration at SLM has focused       on identifying small tonnage mesothermal gold deposits which may be       suitable for relatively near term production.
