** Index had tumbled 4.8% last week as conflict between two nations dimmed prospects for the tourism and travel industry

** InterGlobe Aviation INGL.NS surges over 6% on the day, top gainer on the index

** Chalet Hotels CHAL.NS, EIH EIHO.NS, and Indian Hotels IHTL.NS add 4.7%, 5.3% and 5.5%, respectively

** GMR Airports GMRI.NS and Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation INIR.NS jump around 4% each

** YTD, India's tourism index down 2% vs benchmark Nifty 50's .NSEI 4.5% gains
