May 7 (Reuters) - Below are company-related news and
stories from France and Benelux which could have an impact on
the region's markets or individual stocks.
    
    ARKEMA  AKE.PA  
    The company confirmed its full-year guidance, saying the
operating profit in the second quarter will likely be slightly
higher compared to last year. 
    
    BENETEAU  CHBE.PA : 
    Yachtmaker and boats company said on Monday its revenue had
dropped to 348.7 million euros in the first-quarter, compared to
478.2 million euros a year ago.
    
    COFACE  COFA.PA :
    French credit insurance group on Monday said its
first-quarter sales had decreased by 1.6% at constant exchange
rates to 463.7 million euros.
    
    ELIS  ELIS.PA :
    French industrial laundry firm on Monday reported organic
sales growth of 6.4% in the first quarter and confirmed its
annual targets.
    
    FRANCE-CHINA:
    French President Emmanuel Macron and EU Commission chief
Ursula von der Leyen urged Chinese President Xi Jinping in Paris
on Monday to ensure more balanced trade with Europe, at a start
of a two-day visit during which Macron also pressed him on
Ukraine.
    French and Chinese companies signed on Monday deals ranging
from energy, finance and transport on the sidelines of Chinese
President Xi Jinping's visit to the French capital.

    An investment firm backed by LVMH is betting demand from
wealthy Americans for quiet luxury will ensure its 510 million
euro ($545 million) stake in Italian shoemaker Tod's yields the
double-digit returns private equity typically seeks.

    The Belgian chemicals group posted a less-than-expected
decrease in its first-quarter core profit after a positive
volume impact and lower fixed costs.

    Vaccine maker Valneva confirmed its full-year financial

    French infrastructure group on Monday said it had won two
free-flow toll collection service contracts in the United States
