Australia's Empire Resources rises most in nearly 2 years on gold find in WA project

** Shares of Empire Resources Ltd  ERL.AX  rise as much as
37.5% to A$0.011, their biggest intraday pct gain since July 10,
2020
    ** The mineral exploration co says copper, gold identified
at Smiths Well prospect in Western Australia besides the
recently intersected copper-nickel-cobalt horizon  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nASXQqytv
    ** Says samples have been submitted for laboratory analysis
and results are expected during June quarter
    ** Shares at their highest value since May 3
    ** More than 11.4 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of 1.2 mln shares 
    ** Stock down 27.3% this year, as of last close, versus a
3.5% decline in the S&P/ASX 200 index  .AXJO
