In accordance with the provisions of Article 227 of the Spanish Securities
Market Act, Endesa, S.A. hereby issues notice of the following information:


 * Mr. Antonio Cammisecra, a Shareholder-Appointed Director representing majority
shareholder Enel, S.p.A., has tendered his resignation as a member of the
Board of Directors of Endesa, S.A. and consequently also as a member of the
Company's Appointments and Compensation Committee, as a result of the
termination of his professional relationship with Enel Group.

 * The Board of Directors of Endesa, S.A., at its meeting held today, following a
report from the Appointments and Compensation Committee, has appointed Mr.
Gianni Vittorio Armani as a member of the Board of Directors of Endesa S.A.,
by co-optation, specifically as an External Shareholder-Appointed Director
representing ENEL.



Mr. Gianni Vittorio Armani will fill the Board vacancy resulting from the
resignation of Mr. Antonio Cammisecra.

 * The Board of Directors of Endesa, S.A., at its meeting held today, has
appointed Mr. Gianni Vittorio Armani as a member of the Appointments and
Compensation Committee.
