IBERDROLA IBE.MC

Spain needs to rethink the closure of nuclear power plants, Iberdrola CEO for Spain, Mario Ruiz-Tagle, said in an interview published on Wednesday in Expansion newspaper, calling them a shield against blackouts.

ENDESA ELE.MC

Jefferies raised Endesa's target price to 25 euros ($29.06) from 22.5 euros.

ENAGAS ENAG.MC

Spanish gas grid operator Enagas is in talks to acquire Singaporean sovereign wealth fund GIC's 32% stake in Terega, France's second-largest gas transmission operator, according to two people familiar with the situation.

INDRA IDR.MC

Spain's government awarded Indra and Finland's Bittium BITTI.HE a 770 million euro contract previously assigned to Telefonica TEF.MC and Israel's Elbit for the development of radios for battle tanks, El Confidencial reported on Wednesday, citing unnamed sector sources.

VISCOFAN VIS.MC

Shares in Spanish meat casing maker Viscofan fell 13% on Tuesday after a media report alleged environmental violations in their Danville (Illinois) plant in the U.S.

Viscofan denied the allegations and on Wednesday pointed to Hunterbrook Media as a firm of activist investors known for selling short stocks, operating an affiliated law firm and spreading misleading information for profit.

CIRSA CIRSA.MC

Spanish gambling company Cirsa said on Tuesday it had priced 575 million euro senior secured notes due 2031 and 425 million euro floating rate senior secured notes due 2032.
