Brazil regulator postpones decision over Enel's power contract in Sao Paulo
Brazil regulator postpones decision over Enel's power contract in Sao Paulo SAO PAULO, Oct 6 (Reuters) - Brazilian power regulator Aneel postponed on Tuesday its decision on whether to recommend the early termination of Italian utility Enel's ENEI.MI license to distribute electricity across metropolitan Sao Paulo.
The decision was postponed after one of Aneel's directors asked for more time to review the case. Two directors in the five-member board had cast their votes, both in favor of recommending to Brazil's Energy and Mines Ministry the contract's termination before its 2028 expiry date.
