    March 26 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 2000 GMT on Friday:
    
    
    ** A consortium aiming to take copper miner KAZ Minerals
 KAZ.L  private has increased its bid by 9% to 4.02 billion
pounds ($5.5 billion) after minority shareholders indicated they

    ** News website Axios and sports media firm the Athletic are
in talks to merge and could go public through a blank-check
company, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people

    ** Societe Generale  SOGN.PA  is in advanced talks with both
France's Amundi and U.S. firm State Street to sell its Lyxor
asset management unit as part of efforts to boost profitability,

    ** WeWork said it has agreed to go public through a merger
with blank-check firm BowX Acquisition Corp  BOWX.O , enabling
the office-sharing company to complete a stock market listing

    ** National Bank of Greece (NBG)  NBGr.AT , one of the
country's four largest lenders, reported higher net profit for
2020 and said it agreed to sell a 90% stake in its insurance

    ** The German city of Hanover's power utility, Enercity,
said it has sold shares in its vehicle charging firm wallbe to
Compleo Charging Solutions  COM.DE  for 34.8 million euros

    ** Russian metals producer Nornickel  GMKN.MM  said it would
spin off its stake in the Bystrinsky copper and gold mine and

would acquire its sister company and clean energy investor,
Octopus Renewables, making it one of the biggest renewables

    ** Spain's Banco Santander  SAN.MC  said it will offer to
buy the 8.3% stake in its Mexican unit it doesn't already own,
strengthening its grip on its Latin American businesses.

    ** Aviva  AV.L  has sold its Polish operations to Germany's
Allianz  ALVG.DE  for 2.5 billion euros ($2.94 billion) in cash,
completing a programme to sell European and Asian assets begun

    ** A consortium led by Italy's state-lender CDP is set to
raise its offer for Atlantia's  ATL.MI  motorway unit,
Autostrade per l'Italia, to value all of the company at more

the company's plan to spin off five affiliates, which LG said

its commercial real estate business to investment firm Slate
