E.ON CEO says Germany's critical infrastructure too transparent, calls for change

FRANKFURT, Feb 25 (Reuters) - Germany must draw up legislation that ensures its critical infrastructure, including energy grids, is better protected against attacks, the CEO of E.ON EONGn.DE said, adding this included reducing digital transparency.

"All of Germany's critical infrastructure is effectively available on the internet and geolocated," Leonhard Birnbaum told journalists after presenting full-year results.

"This cannot be reversed, but for everything we build from now on, we should at least strive to ensure that this is no longer the case in future."
