Scope Ratings said on Friday it had completed a monitoring review on Italy, which resulted in no rating action.

Italy's Treasury said on Friday it would offer up to 9 billion euros in BTP and CCTEU bonds at an auction on April 29.

The Iran war will have a bigger and more lasting impact on oil and gas prices than is being priced in, the Italian energy group's finance chief said on Friday as Eni raised its estimate for 2026 Brent crude prices to $83 per barrel, from $70.

UniCredit has further increased its stake in the insurer above 9%, Il Messaggero reported on Sunday citing rumours.
On Saturday, la Repubblica cited speculation that UniCredit was behind a block trade on Friday on 0.3% of Generali's capital, adding the stake would top 10% once the share buyback is completed leading shares equivalent to around 1% of Generali's capital being cancelled.
The decision to expand the stake is meant to strengthen the bank's hand in any potential deals involving the insurer pursued by other players and support its commercial ties, Bloomberg reported on Saturday citing people familiar with the matter.

The automaker's Peugeot brand will start producing vehicles in China using technology from long-time partner Dongfeng 600006.SS both for the domestic market and for export, the automaker said on Friday.

Leading governance adviser Institutional Shareholder Services has urged shareholders in the state-backed defence group to support a slate of board nominees filed by fund association Assogestioni, rather than the one put forward by the Italian government to elect a new CEO at a May 7 general meeting, Radiocor news agency reported on Sunday.
(*) Moody's on Monday raised its long-term issuer rating on Leonardo to 'Baa2' from 'Baa3', maintaining a positive outlook.

Kepler Cheuvreux on Monday cut its rating on the Italian yacht maker to 'hold' from 'buy'.

The Italian grid operator said on Saturday departing CEO Giuseppina Di Foggia had agreed to an early termination of her directorship, effective on May 5. The company also said Di Foggia has agreed to waive the additional severance grants due for her role as general manager, adding that she will be granted an end-of-mandate gross indemnity of 108,750 euros.
CUCINELLI BCU.MI
The Italian luxury group has strengthened its controls to monitor compliance with European Union sanctions on Russia, its 2025 annual report showed on Friday, following allegations last year that it breached export restrictions.
