Italy - Factors to watch on June 9 The following factors could affect Italian markets on Tuesday.

DEBT
The Italian Treasury said on Monday it would sell up to 4 billion euros ($4.62 billion) of bonds at an auction on June 11.
On Tuesday the Treasury will hold a syndicated sale, re-opening a 7-year bond and a 30-year one.
COMPANIES
INTESA SANPAOLO ISP.MI, MONTE DEI PASCHI (MPS) BMPS.MI, BANCO BPM BAMI.MI
Intesa Sanpaolo's confidence that its €30 billion ($35 billion) unsolicited bid for smaller lender Monte dei Paschi di Siena will succeed is based on its good relations with leading MPS shareholders and a pre-baked remedy for competition issues.
Intesa made its move on MPS on Monday, acting swiftly after Banco BPM, the number four player in Italy, approached MPS about a merger.
MPS said it would assess both proposals, while the Italian government said it would remain neutral.

The Franco-Italian auto maker said on Tuesday it is recalling more than 1.3 million Jeep SUVs and trucks worldwide over fire concerns and urged owners to park away from structures or other vehicles until a fix is completed.
Estonian vehicle sharing platform Bolt will launch its first autonomous mobility test program in Luxembourg in collaboration with Stellantis and Chinese robotaxi operator Pony.ai, the companies said on Monday.
