POLITICS

(*) Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni's right-wing coalition won the Venice mayoral election, projections showed on Monday, retaining control of the most prominent city at stake in a round of local votes held across Italy.

DEBT

The Treasury said on Monday it would sell up to 10.5 billion euros of bonds at auction on May 28.

On Tuesday the Treasury will offer up to 4.75 billion euros of BTP short, 5-year BTP and 20-year BTP bonds.

The energy group said on Monday it and partners Petroci and Vitol had approved the final investment decision for the third phase of the Baleine project in Ivory Coast, marking a new stage in development of the country's largest hydrocarbon discovery.

The luxury sports car maker presented its first fully electric car on Monday, marking a high-stakes shift as competitors including Porsche and Lamborghini scale back their EV ambitions, citing weak demand.

The four-door Luce, Italian for 'light', was developed with the help of former Apple design chief Jony Ive and his collective LoveFrom, and is Ferrari's first five-seater.

The energy company said on Monday it had received a further extension of a force majeure notice from QatarEnergy on liquefied natural gas (LNG) deliveries until mid-August 2026.

The electrochemical group said on Tuesday it had agreed to buy BW Water Pte, a global water treatment solutions company, for an enterprise value of $61.5 million to $66.5 million. The acquisition will bring De Nora's revenue close to 1 billion euros.
