Updates to add Nigerian loading programs
LONDON, April 24 (Reuters) - West African crude differentials weakened further on Friday, traders said, as a flurry of offers were tabled in the Platts window.
Eni offered a cargo of Angolan grade Nemba with May 26-27 loading dates at dated Brent minus 55 cents a barrel on the Platts window, having offered down to dated Brent plus $3.15 on Thursday.
BP offered a cargo of Plutonio with June 4-5 loading dates at dated Brent plus $2.50.
ExxonMobil withdrew an offer for Angolan Pazflor with May 29-30 dates at dated Brent plus $3.00.
Most West African crude trading takes place in term contracts or bilateral deals and it is relatively rare for companies to trade cargoes via the Platts system, known as the window.
The selling comes as Asian oil refining throughput is set to tumble in April and May, as crude imports hit a 10-year low and the Iran war forces refiners to process lighter grades.
Angola plans to load 35 crude oil cargoes in June, up from 34 cargoes scheduled to load in May.
Exports of four key Nigerian crude oil grades - Bonga, Bonny Light, Forcados and Qua Iboe - are scheduled at 827,000 barrels per day in June, preliminary loading programmes seen by Reuters show.
