Dell, Palantir jump on S&P 500 inclusion

** Shares of PC maker Dell Technologies  DELL.N  rise ~6% to
$108.25 premarket, while data analytics firm Palantir
Technologies  PLTR.N  jumps ~7% to $32.42
    ** S&P Dow Jones Indices on Friday said DELL, PLTR to join
the benchmark S&P 500  .SPX  index, along with casualty insurer
Erie Indemnity  ERIE.O 
    ** Cos will join before the market opens on Sept. 23
    ** DELL, PLTR and ERIE to replace American Airlines  AAL.O ,
online marketplace Etsy  ETSY.O  and diagnostics company Bio-Rad
Laboratories  BIO.N 
    ** AAL and ETSY down marginally before the bell
    ** Through last close, DELL has gained ~33% YTD, while PLTR
has surged ~77% and ERIE is up ~51%
